Traffic in the biggest city on Earth

Right now, I'm stuck in the most chaotic, most horrendous, most insane traffic in the world. The people just ignore the street signs and don't care just a single bit of the other people. I just don't understand why they are so aggressive. I know, they may be late for an appointment, but that doesn't mean you have to kill yourself in the process. Oh well, every country has its own unique way of driving, and that's just the way it is in Mexico City.
